The ClubCrown Stripe installation is extremely easy.
Available in dozens of different designs, ClubCrown Stripe is a simple adhesive that can now be installed without either finding an authorized dealer or shipping your golf club to the company. This should make it more accessible and attractive to a variety of consumers.
Unlike the original ClubCrown which covers the entire top of the club, the ClubCrown Stripe just covers about a two inch wide stripe down the center of the club centered at the sweetspot. Installation is just a series of six or eight steps outlined in the YouTube video below.
The ClubCrown Stripe comes with a practice round. The package includes an alcohol swab, practice stripe, an alignment triangle and cutting tape, which alone is an ingenious idea. It’s a very thin piece of tape that has a thin, yet strong fiber in it that is used as a cutting tool.
One thing worth pointing out is in the video they show a separate piece of film with the cut tape attached. In the ClubCrown Stripe packaging the cut tape was attached to the side of the film holding the actual Stripe. If you follow the directions, the installation is about 10 minutes. It’s just that easy. It is recommended using the practice stripe and making sure the path of the Stripe from front to back lands where you want it and conforms to the crown of the club in a way that doesn’t distort the graphics.
At less than 1 g of weight, there is no noticeable difference in weight after installation. However, there certainly is a visual difference standing over the driver at address. You should find it quite useful for aim and alignment. The decal is removable, so there are no worries of it damaging a golf club.
With an ever increasing selection of ClubCrown Stripes to choose from you shouldn’t have any issues finding one you like.
The SuperAim series is designed to help with alignment. The customized alignment aid ensures your Stripe will run straight down the club head and aim you down the line. The STRIPE is offered in over 70 collegiate and military designs, plus many other exciting patterns.
