What the experts say: This is a balanced, plush, bold Cabernet that hits all the marks. There’s a complex array of aromas and flavours to indulge in, including blueberry, blackcurrant, bramble, baking spice, mocha and graphite. Displaying great tension and backbone, this has the oomph for big dishes such as lamb shanks or venison.
What do I think: The Label caught my attention and the Rcabernet I was thinking a Pirate might be behind it! The experts are pretty bang on with their thoughts. Not sure what the consistency of this product might be moving forward as the producers own no property and source grapes from around the world.
