What’s New
Timbers Kaua’i – Ocean Club & Residences at Hōkūala is a new private residential club opening June 1, 2018 on Kauai’s picturesque southeast coast. Timbers Kaua’i is set on a 450-acre natural amphitheater next to the tranquil waters of Kalapaki Beach. It offers residents breathtaking unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean bookended by the verdant Hau’pu mountain range with direct access to the shoreline. The residence club will offer an array of ownership opportunities, including two-, three-, and four-bedroom residences for sale as whole ownership, ranging from $2 million to 9.5 million, or as shared ownership interests, starting in the mid $300,000s.
Amenities
Owners will enjoy a thoughtfully curated collection of amenities and services, including access to a full-service restaurant featuring a progressive farm-fresh approach with Dinner on the Farm, an oceanfront infinity-edge swimming pool and separate ohana pool with a beach entry and water features that will be the heart of the resort.
Owners will keep active at the outdoor fitness lanai, Technogym-programmed fitness center with yoga and spa programming. Timbers’ personalized service for residents will also include the Keiki Adventure Club – the hub for youth activities and adventures and exclusive access to The Beach Club located at Kalapaki Beach, where Timbers Kaua’i owners can enjoy premier access to watersports instruction and an array of ocean adventures around Kauai. Poolside dining and water jitney transport via the inland waterway will allow easy access to other areas of the resort, such as the golf clubhouse and future development including a retail center. Pau Hana (happy hour) gatherings will also commence on the rooftop observation terrace.
Set to also be completed this summer, Hōkūala will also include a 180-room boutique hotel complete with destination spa and custom half-acre homesites with golf course and mountain views.
World-Class Golf
Hōkūala translates to, “Rising Star.” In a special setting where the ocean meets the land, this is as good as a golfer’s life can get.
The Hōkūala experience will revolve around its idyllic setting with tennis, hiking and biking trails, beach activities, mountain adventures and golf. The award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature Course was recently renovated in 2016 and renamed the Ocean Course, with major enhancements including a world-class practice facility.
Winding its way through mango and guava groves to dramatic seaside cliffs, the Ocean Course has been named one of the world’s 12 most beautiful courses by MSN Travel, and most recently North America’s Best Golf Course by the World Golf Awards. It’s little wonder that the list of accolades for the course is long, much like the string of holes that hug the sea. This continuous stretch of oceanfront golf is the longest in golf-rich Hawaii.
