The Terravista golf course opened in 2004 and is one of the most famous in South America. For golf course architect Dan Blankenship, Terravista Terravista was his first project in Brazil. The layout of the golf course with its various doglegs and water hazards is very demanding but very fair. The first 9 holes lead inland whereas the back nine have more open fairways. From holes 12 to 16 you play on a plateau, approx. 40 meters high, always with a wonderful view of the open sea. Hole 14, a par 3, is Terravista’s signature hole. Depending on the tee, 100-200 yards must be played over a cliff. All 18 holes have 4 standard tees for all levels.
